Community Chest Application - Closing date 30th September

 

Please don’t forget the deadline for the next Community Chest is 30th September. Please find attached a copy of the application form, grant agreement and questionnaire.

The Southampton City Council, Community Chest Allocation Panel, meets 3 times a year to approve small, one-off grants (up to a maximum of £500) to local, voluntary, community and neighbourhood groups meeting the needs of the residents of Southampton.

Priority is given to smaller, unfunded groups working in areas of most need and groups which have not received a grant in the past two years. Groups already in receipt of council funding may apply but only for a new project or piece of work not covered by the existing grant. As there are usually more applicants than money available, successful groups are more likely to receive a contribution than the full amount requested.
