Welcome to Highfield

Highfield in Southampton is an area situated North-West of Portswood Road, South of Burgess Road and East of The Avenue. The residents association was created in 1973 to help in the development of a sense of community and to encourage involvement and control over matters that affect us, the residents of the area.

Membership is open to anyone who lives in the area as defined by the map.
The annual subscription is currently £3.00. To Join please print the membership form and fill it in, then put it in an envelope with a cheque for £3.00  made payable to Highfield Residents Association and drop it in to the the newsagents (Highfield News, 54 Highfield Lane, Southampton, SO17 1QB).

As an area to live in, Highfield is a lively and very interactive community with diverse cultures and, because of the University, is now an internationally recognised centre of academic excellence.
