Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation

We are local people committed to strengthening our communities by encouraging local giving.

  • We manage charitable funds on behalf of  individuals and organisations
  • We make grants to local charities and voluntary groups
  • We promote the benefits of 'Investing in our Community'

Faced with the difficulty of choosing between thousands of  local causes, many potential donors often opt to support large national organisations instead, meaning charitable giving from our area leaves the locality never to return.

Please take a look at our site and find out how investing in your local community can make a genuine difference or if you are looking for funding explore the grants we have available.

HIWCF has been appointed to manage the Grassroots Grants for Hampshire and Isle of Wight, click here to find out more!

National Organisation of Residents Associations

National Organisation of Residents Associations

The organisation was founded by a group of town centre residents' associations in January 2003 in response to widespread concern that the environment in which their members lived was being threatened. Planning, licensing, traffic management, car parking and community safety are all matters on which members seek help and advice.

Since member organisations come from all parts of England and Wales, communication is through the internet. Access to published data is via the website and free to all, but only members receive an email service bringing them up-to-date information and advice on problems. Members can request help, which can be obtained quickly using the experience of other members.

New members are welcome from anywhere in the United Kingdom. The more associations that join, the more influence we are likely to have. We regularly respond to consultations by government departments, and all members are invited to contribute to our responses. So look at Aims and Join Us webpages, and fill in the Application Form. Subscriptions are affordable, and once paid a webpage is set up promptly for new members. Members are then added to the emailing list. So please consider membership now for your residents association.

Report a Planning Concern

Please use the Contact Form and select the category 'Report a planning concern'. Please give as much information as you can in the message section.

We hope to have a form for members to use which will enable the upload of relevant files and / or photographs but that will be a week or two in development.
In the meantime the contact form should suffice.
